Artist Mike Bouchet describes watching his large-scale sculpture created for the Venice Biennale sink in the city’s waterways: “Once it starts to go… I was surprised, kind of shocked. But then it’s kind of like, Wow, what do I do? You have to start looking at it; I look at it sideways. How is it going? And then … well, I was the last one to jump off the house.
